At the core, our dxServer is the structure behind our customized mobile systems. It links your mobile workers with your business. It provides a way for your desk-based users to share and process data from the field. It gives managers and administrators the ability to monitor and control how your business operates.

 

How it works

Built on industry-standard Microsoft technology, the dxServer provides the infrastructure to untether your business.

 

Mobile users, equipped with Windows Mobile handhelds, iPhones or other intelligent devices, interact with the system through a custom-designed “smart” application. The application is built to support them, providing project and task-specific information, becoming an extension of how they work.

 

Each handheld has its own database powering the “smart” application. Periodically, this database wirelessly synchronizes with the dxServer. If the device is unable to connect, no worries. Mobile users continue to work with data on their device. When a connection is made, our software quietly synchronizes with the dxServer. This keeps mobile users working where ever their duty calls.

 

The dxServer includes a suite of tools to manage, track and monitor mobile users. Desk-based administrators and project managers use a custom-designed Web-based interface to work with the system. Managers can assign tasks, dispatch workers or track inventory. They can measure productivity and punctuality. The dxServer is tailored to your needs.

 

Business data resides within the dxServer’s internal database. The database can integrate with most “back-end” software systems, sharing data from the field with your entire enterprise. When needed, it can keep data to itself, operating as as stand-alone system. Shared or solo, the dxServer is a flexible, scalable and reliable platform for your custom mobile solution.
