The Big ThreeDXY is turning three.Three years ago, the foudnation for DXY was set over the holiday season. With the passage of this season, we are celebrating our third anniversary. Reflecting back on these past three years, we have witnessed radical change in the mobile space. Apple introduced the iPhone. Google let loose the Android OS for mobile devices. Once dominate players like Palm and Microsoft were relegated to virtual irrelivance. Over 60 million new cellular users have been added in the United states since 2006. The world has embraced mobility. Looking ahead, the mobile universe is only getting larger. One study predicts the total number of cellular users to hit 5.5 billion in 2011. The machine-to-machine (“M2M”) cellular market is expected to reach $264 billion by the end of 2010. Much has changed since we launched in 2006; it has been an exciting ride thus far and we look forward to even greater events going forward.
